Safety, security, and well-being are the foundations of a learning environment. Participants will gain the knowledge and understanding of the basic needs of students and staff that will create a safe environment as well as enhance the well-being of each child. From bullying to playgrounds, and from emergency management to code enforcement, the School Health and Safety Cooperative will assist your LEA in becoming that safe, secure environment that enhances the well-being of students and staff.
The School Health and Safety Cooperative is designed to provide support to LEAs relating to safety, security, and health. This includes topics such as emergency procedures, weather preparation, concussion education, and medication administration.
